Events at Ithaca Birmingham
At Ithaca, there is always something to look forward to. Our events bring together Birmingham's Greek community — and anyone who is curious about Greek culture — across a wide range of formats, from intimate seminars to lively music nights and seasonal celebrations.
Over the years we have hosted live music evenings featuring performers travelling directly from Greece, academic seminars on topics ranging from ancient monetary policy to modern Greek history, festive gatherings marking Vasilopita, Apokries, and Easter, photography contests, cooking showcases, and cultural festivals. Many of our events are free to attend and open to all, reflecting our belief that Greek culture belongs to everyone.
We regularly collaborate with the Greek Club of Birmingham, AHEPA, and the University of Birmingham, and we are proud to have hosted events on campus, in local venues, and within the community.
Whether you are joining us for the first time or have been part of Ithaca for years, our events are the heart of what we do.
Upcoming events are listed on the right. You can also browse our past activities to see what we have organised, and follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date with new announcements.
